The support Penn State receives from industry partners makes it possible for us to offer our students an optimal learning environment, allowing them to work on industry projects of specific interest to your company that will provide them the real-world experience they need to become successful engineers following graduation.
Partnering with the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics makes it possible to purchase new equipment, start new research ventures, and provide our students with internships, co-ops, and design projects. Partnerships also contribute to our students' ability to connect with industry representatives for leads on full-time employment.
In return, we are able to assist with engineering projects and provide fresh, innovative solutions with little or no risk to the sponsor.
