ESM Golden Decade Reunion

ESM Golden Decade Alumni Reunion

The annual ESM Golden Decade Alumni Reunion celebrates alumni who graduated 50 years ago, as well as alumni celebrating their 45th, 40th, 30th, 20th, and 10th reunion. All alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago are inducted as Golden Decade Fellows to honor their lifetime accomplishments.

The event is held in conjunction with We Are Weekend (formally Traditional Reunion Weekend and Alumni Reunion Weekend). We Are Weekend is the premier Alumni Association summer event, designed to give Penn Staters of all ages, backgrounds, and interests an opportunity to customize their weekend schedule and spend time with family, friends, and classmates.

For more information about the Golden Decade Reunion, please contact the coordinator for alumni, development, and advancement, Bethany Illig at 814-867-1569 or buh196@psu.edu.

2020 Golden Decade Reunion

Penn State’s Alumni Association has canceled the annual We Are Weekend. In conjunction with this decision, the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics (ESM) is also canceling the Golden Decade Reunion scheduled for June 18-19. The health, safety, and welfare of our alumni and all Penn Staters was at the forefront of this difficult decision.

Anyone who has already registered for the We Are Weekend will receive a full refund. If you booked a room at The Nittany Lion Inn or The Penn Stater under the We Are Weekend block, your room reservation will be automatically canceled.

We will invite you back next year (June 2021) to celebrate an extra-special “Double Decade” Reunion to celebrate all ESM alumni. We will also celebrate other special milestones, including the College of Engineering’s 125th anniversary and ESM’s 115th anniversary. More information to come!

For questions, please contact the coordinator for alumni, development, and advancement, Bethany Illig at 814-867-1569 or buh196@psu.edu.
